Agreement between Region and Ministry of Education

17.12.2009. On december 14th, an agreement was signed between Region Languedoc Roussillon and the Recteur (representative of Ministry of Education), in order to promote teaching of both languages: Occitan and Catalan spoken in the Region.

Agreement with the University of Perpinyà

27.11.2009. On October 13th, The Superior Institute for the languages of the French Republic (ISLRF), signed an agreement with the University of Perpinyà. The agreement allows the students from the ISLRF to be automatically registered in that University and get a Master to become a teacher specialized in linguistical immersion ( in Catalan, Bretton, Basc, Occitan and Alsacian )

New agreement between Bressola and Barcelona FC

15.11.2009. On the 13th of November, Joan LAPORTA, President of the famous Football Club BARCELONA, visited Perpinyà. In the morning, he was received by the pupils of Catalan schools.

Barcelona Auditorium full up!

North Catalan schools filled up Barcelona’s big Auditorium thanks to the musicians from “Musiquetes per la Bressola “ CD, and also pupils from north Catalan schools.

The assistance came from Northern and Southern Catalonia, and also from Majorca and València.

A big emotion when they heard the north Catalan children singing traditional Catalan songs in the very heart of Barcelona.
